I
taught tennis at the Belle Meade country Club, however my first
job teaching school was here at Eakin. |

led you to teaching? |

I
thought it would be fun teaching kids to play sports and exercise.
I also thought how Field Day was the thing I remembered most
about elementary school.

is your favorite part of teaching and interacting with children?

Seeing
kids smiling and having fun is my favorite part of teaching.

is your preferred method of communication? |
|
Now that I have learned to use e-mail, that is usually the easiest
way to communicate. Notes home are also easy for a large group. |

My
family is very involved in sports. My husband teaches and
coaches at Overton High School. My kids play travel soccer,
basketball, baseball, and play most anything else if they
have time. I love running and playing tennis.
