I have been teaching Kindergarten at Eakin for 15 years. |
| Do
you have previous teaching experience? |
|
Before I started at Eakin, I was a substitute for a year in Metro. |
| What
led you to teaching? |
|
I became a teacher because I LOVE children. Teaching Kindergarten is a great challenge and adventure.
Everyone should be so lucky to do a job that they enjoy! |
| What
is your favorite part of teaching and interacting with children?
Do you have any special interests or what is your favorite part
of the school year? |
|
No grade level is like Kindergarten! Working with Kindergarteners is great because of the
joy and wonder that they have about everything. They are not shy or frightened about trying new things!
My favorite part of the school year is the beginning because it is so very exciting getting to know new people. |
| What
is your preferred method of communication? |
|
Email is a great way to communicate because you can get messages to me when it is convenient for you.Beth Asbell |

I really enjoy reading and am always reading something. Another joy that I have is playing with my dog, Sadie.
She is a 16 month old Border Collie. |
